I am originally from Perkins and Box Butte counties and currently calling Hemingford, NE, my home. My educational journey led me to the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Animal Science. Later, I pursued my passion for communication by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska Kearney.

Beyond the world of speech therapy, my heart lies in my family and our ranch near Hemingford. I find joy in assisting my four children with their 4-H projects and working alongside my husband, Lee, on our ranch.

My journey into speech therapy was ignited by a personal experience. When our twins needed speech services at the age of two, the scarcity of SLPs in our community prevented them from receiving the necessary face-to-face assistance. This challenge fueled my determination to be a catalyst for change. Recognizing the need for more SLPs in our area, I returned to school with a mission – to become a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a positive impact on families facing similar situations.
